September 20, 2014 – The Gates
The ceremony was to be located on the rear grounds of The Gates on Roblin Blvd with the river in the background, just gorgeous. However at the last minute, large dark ominous clouds forced the ceremony inside. Anita and Kelly didn’t let that phase them…where didn’t really seem to matter to them, they just wanted to be married.
That wasn’t the only thing that went a little array, Anita’s hairdresser had to be replaced last minute by family…this also visibly didn’t not rattle Anita. If your picking up on this, Anita and Kelly were the epitome of calm and relaxed. Many people use these words to describe themselves, but these two were the real deal! It made it so easy to connect with them.
I was referred to them by Colleen Olafson, their marriage commissioner; www.winnipegmarriagecommissioner.ca; who also happens to be my step mom. Its always great when we are able to be at the same wedding. This was a small, quaint weddings with all the most important people there to share in their day and the joining of these families!
